Two Traditions, One HomeđĄ
The time has come for the big revealâand I couldnât be more thrilled to finally share whatâs been blooming behind the scenes. What began as quiet reflection and resilient hope has now blossomed into something truly exciting⊠*drum roll please* đ„đ„đ„
The Yoga Haven is partnering with the Fremont Ballet School.
This isnât just a new chapterâitâs a shared story of grace, grit, and growth.
This decision didnât come easily. In true transparency, there was a moment recently when I stood at the edge of closing our doors. The weight of solo business ownership, the complexities of motherhood, and the ache of juggling it all while still showing upâheart open, voice steadyâas an authentic yoga teacher felt almost too heavy to carry. My light was beginning to dim. But just as I was beginning to lose hope, Lilyâthe graceful, grounded, and generous owner of the Fremont Ballet Schoolâappeared like a bright light in a dark hour. Her presence reminded me that yoga extends far beyond the physical practiceâitâs the energy we put into the world, coming back in unexpected, beautiful ways. Itâs proof that when we lead with heart, the universe finds a way to meet us there.
As we talked, we discovered that our missions echo each other: both rooted in accessibility, creativity, and the belief that movement can connect and empower. We dance around similar circles; and now, weâve decided to grow side by side, each honoring our own tradition, while sharing a home built on connection.
Hereâs what this means:
The Yoga Haven and Fremont Ballet School will continue to operate as independent businesses. The Yoga Haven remains lovingly rooted in the same thoughtful vision, inclusive spirit, and gentle rhythms that have shaped our sanctuary from the very beginning. Nothing about our heart is changing⊠only the walls around it.
Weâll share one roof, creating a home where yoga and ballet coexist, complement, and inspireâeach offering its own rhythm, grace, and healing. Itâs a space where breath meets movement, where tradition meets innovation, and where every BODY is welcomed.
Together, weâll expand our offerings to serve even more members of our communityâacross ages, abilities, and backgrounds. This partnership allows us to deepen our impact, broaden our reach, and continue building a home where movement is not just taught, but felt, shared, and celebrated.
Our new shared home is located at 1201 Oak Harbor Road, Fremontâa space currently undergoing thoughtful renovations to reflect the heart and harmony of both our traditions. Weâre shaping it with care, intention, and a deep commitment to creating a nurturing haven where movement, breath, and belonging come together. Weâll tentatively open our doors to you on October 4, 2025, inviting you into a space where yoga and ballet live side by side, and where every corner is designed to encourage healing, spark connection, and invite growth in every direction.
We call this next chapter: Two Traditions, One Home.
Whether you find your breath in a yoga class or balance at the barre, we hope youâll feel the warmth of this new beginning. Itâs a testament to whatâs possible when small businesses lift each other upâand when community remains at the heart of every decision.
Weâre so glad youâre here, and we canât wait for this chapter to unfold.
